Introducing the maths challenge
Today’s maths challenge is the perfect way to test your ability, but also to learn more about how you think and make decisions. It’s a great way to develop your skills and cognitive abilities.
The challenge presents you with the image of a hexagon with 9 numbers inside. These numbers are placed in various geometric shapes, including a square, a circle, a triangle, a pentagon and a hexagon. To solve the puzzle, you need to find the missing number in the shortest possible time. To help you find the solution, use maximum concentration, logic and common sense to analyze the situation.
Solution to the mathematical puzzle
The correct answer to this riddle is 13. Did you manage to find the same answer? If so, you’ve taken the right logical approach. If you haven’t, we’ll explain how to solve the riddle.
To solve this mathematical challenge, you had to follow logical reasoning. Logical calculation involves establishing a relationship between numbers and the geometric shapes that contain them. Thus, you need to add each number to the number of sides of the geometric figure (3 + 4 = 7, 6 + 3 = 9 and so on). You’ll then obtain a series of odd numbers: 3, 5, 9, 11, 13, 15, 19. Following this logic, the missing digit is 13, because you need to add 4 to obtain 17.
We’d like to thank everyone who took part in our test this morning, and congratulate those who found the answer!
